This is a living research project. Corrections, overlooked texts, critical comments, and suggestions for improvement are welcome—including evidence that challenges the interpretations developed here.

What helps most

Corrections: wording, dates, attribution, source links, or verification status that may need revision.
Missing evidence: a speech, letter, editorial, or contextual source that deserves inclusion.
Alternative readings: a different interpretation, overlooked context, or counterevidence.
Improvements: clearer categories, a better explanation of the method, or a problem using the site.

Make it easy to check

For a specific record, include its ID or title, the passage or field in question, and your proposed change. A source link, edition, date, or page reference is especially useful, but you can send a comment without one.

The methodology explains how records are selected, categorised, and checked. Suggestions are assessed against the evidence, and supported corrections can be incorporated into the record and its research notes.
